Brandan Robertson (Founder & Lead Blogger)
Brandan Robertson is an Evangelical Christian blogger, podcaster, aspiring minister, and the dreamer behind the Revangelical Movement. Brandan is currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where he is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Pastoral Ministry/Theology. In 2011, Brandan took to the air waves by creating a radio show, then called The Bridge which transformed into what is today The Revangelical Connection. Though no longer on the radio, this audio/video podcast seeks to connect with Christian leaders from across the spectrum of faith to begin working towards a better Christianity. As a result of this project, Brandan began blogging and since 2011 has seen The Revangelical Blog take off. Brandan is also privileged to serve as a contributor to Patheos Book Club, The Christian Manifesto, and several other well-read blogs around the net. Brandan is an aspiring author, and also an aspiring Church Planter/Pastor. On top of his personal ministries, Brandan has the honor to serve as the Chaplain of the Moody Men's Collegiate Choir, and internationally touring music ensemble from Moody. In all of this, Brandans desire is to see the kingdom of God come and the will of God be done on earth as it is in heaven, for the glory of Jesus and the good of all of creation. As an atheist and a Humanist...you can find inspiration in strange places. Although I wholly reject Brandan’s beliefs about God, and find his beliefs about women and gay people to be quite wrong, I find something compelling and stirring in his description of the purpose of the Church... [His vision of the church is one that is] consistently a voice for the oppressed and marginalized, a subversive grass-roots force working to uplift those on the edges of society, a check on the powerful and a warning to the might - that is a church I might want to be a part of.
Brandan Robertson [is] one of the brightest and most hope-inspiring young Christian leaders you'll meet... I was so impressed with his ardent spirit - a great example of 1 Timothy 4: 12.Rev. Michael Camp, Minister & Author, Confessions of a Bible Thumper
I commend Brandan...his heart struck me... If liberals, progressives, moderates, and conservatives can learn to agree to disagree, agreeably, and in respect and love, and not demonize the other, we just might get a slice of what Brandan Robertson desires: the Reign of God come and God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Rev. Eric Elnes, Minister & Host, Darkwood Brew
I found that what inspired me most about the (Re)vangelicals, was the fact that these 20-somethings are a fair shake more conservative than the guests they feature, but feel strongly that difference is something to invite, not shun. Rev. John Armstrong, Founder, ACT 3 Ministries Brandan is asking the right questions and leaning in to a future filled with hope.

A joy to be with...I support the mission of this ministry!
